WWW Wednesday, 8/25

Cute meme from Should Be Reading, WWW Wednesday!

* What are you currently reading? Kiss Me Deadly, which is really completely perfect for a day like today!

* What did you recently finish reading? Persuasion by Jane Austen

* What do you think you’ll read next?: I'm dragging out Dracula In Love because I don't want to finish it it (in a good way). So it's a concurrent/next read.

What are you all reading now?

  1. Audra, Kiss Me Deadly is coming my way in the mail soon... I love novellas and Anthologies are great ways to spend short bursts of time reading a good book....

Welcome to the wonderful world of Book Blogging and Paranormal genre reading, it is addictive!

    My WWW today

  2. @Jackie -- YES! I take subway & bus to commute, and volumes like this are just perfect -- I am so excited for this book. So many authors I like and am starting to know! Thanks for popping by!

  3. I desperately want to read Dracula in Love!
Looking forward to your review :)

Have a look at my new Giveaway :)

  4. @Lu -- It is so good. Not to brag or anything! ;) I am so impressed with Ms Essex's deft handling of the era -- she reminds us of the historical London that Stoker set his novel in and it's quite wild, risque, revolutionary, stuffy, and pompous in turn!

  5. Dracula In Love sounds very interesting... just the title alone does. I'll look forward to your review.

P.S. I saw your picture following on someone else's blog and thought you looked familiar and then I remembered you sent me books on Goodreads! Nice blog! :D

  6. @Steph -- hi!! That's too funny -- welcome! I'm glad you stopped by!

Dracula in Love is so great -- very sexy, unlike the original, but the author does an excellent job of reminding us what Victorian England was like and how Mina Murray might have really felt, had Stoker thought to flesh her out.
