For Review

The Seven Year Bitch by Jennifer Belle
The Kitchen Shrink by Dee DeTarsio
Centuries of June by Keith Donohue
Before Versailles by Karleen Koen
The Girl in the Garden by Kamala Nair

  1. OMG, you got Before Versailles?? I'm so jealous. She's such a fabulous writer. Through a Glass Darkly is one of my favorite books, and the sequel was really good, too. Have you read her other books?

  2. Before Versailles is on the top of my tbr pile. It looks good. And Jenny Q up there has now made me go check out her other works. And The Girl in the Garden because the cover is pretty ;)

  3. Enjoy your books :) I plan to read Before Versailles too and I sure hope it's good

  4. I'm actually most looking forward to Centuries of June. A story set in a bathroom definitely draws my attention. I'm interested in seeing if the author can pull off all the subplots. The more intricate a story the more confusing it can become or the characters can suffer from underdevelopement. Looking forward to your review. Enjoy!

  5. I have not heard a lot about these books, but a few of the covers have piqued my interest a lot. I look forward to hearing what you have to say about them, and I am betting that after reading your reviews, my wish list will be growing a bit!

  6. Before Versailles catches my eye. been meaning to try a koen novel.

  7. Jenny, Jessie, Bloeuedd, & Vee: I'm super excited to read Before Versailles -- it's my first Koen novel but I've seen lots of (favorable) buzz about it!

Jenna: Doesn't the set up sound so good? I'm v curious to see how it unfolds -- here's hoping it doesn't disappoint.

Heather: I don't know whether to cackle or apologize for growing your wishlist! ;)

  8. I also have The Girl in the Garden! Happy reading

  9. I also got Before Versailles this week too. I previously read her Dark Angels (several years ago) and LOVED it. I am hoping I can maybe squeeze in a re-read soon. Glad you got your circus books! :)

  10. You always get great books, Audra. I'm looking forward to your thoughts on Before Versailles as it's on my wish list.

  11. Girl in the Garden is something I would like to know more about once you have read it. Looks interesting.

  12. I LOVED Before Versailles Audra and I think you will too! I tried to read it slow and savor every page but it was so good that I devoured it!

    Enjoy your new reads!
