Completely random gift from my mother-in-law, who so loved the audiobook of this she wanted me to read it immediately. NOW.

Consolation prize as Mo Willems' event at the Cambridge Public Library was flat out packed and I decided to give up my seat to a parent and child as my wife and the kid we were babysitting got a seat. (Seemed silly for a childless adult to have a much needed seat!) As a treat, they bought me a book -- signed by Mo himself!

Wow, so many good books! I really want to read Don't Judge a Book by its Lover! By the way, Marcia has Mr. Linky up at the Mailbox Monday blog - I'm the backup after this month.
ReplyDeleteAck, I got the title wrong - Judging a Book by its Lover!

Here's MY MONDAY MEMES POST
An incredible amount of books in a single week! (Although I guess I'm careful not to add mine up. I never participate in this meme!) I listened to River of Smoke on audio (excellent!) and your post has reminded me I never got Sea of Poppies.
ReplyDeleteYou had an amazing week! Congrats and happy reading!
ReplyDeleteWow, those look good! I look forward to hearing what you think.
ReplyDeleteThe Uninvited sounds chilling. Hop you have a great week!
ReplyDeleteSome great reads, enjoy! all of them.
ReplyDeleteThe Aviator's Wife and (of course) the Jane Austen book caught my eye. Happy reading!
ReplyDeleteHmm -- The Aviator's Wife is definitely intriguing! I clicked through and saw it's being compared to The Paris Wife, which I'm reading now. I think I can get behind the "famous couples revealed" fiction trend that's happening now!
ReplyDeleteYou've got yourself a right party there! Those are quite interesting looking selections! Happy Reading!
