I am in complete denial about the date and all that it means: holidays, merry-making, traveling, shopping. Can I have a few more weeks, please??
Here is this week's Mailbox Monday (hosted in December at Suko's Notebook) -- what did you get this week?

I am in date denial too, you are so not the only one!
ReplyDeleteAnd you have the new Chavelier - I'm excited to see what you think of it.
As Kathy below pointed out, I dated the entry wrong. I am so in denial about the date! I'm super excited for the Chevalier.
DeleteI have had The Mistress of Rome sitting on my bookshelf for such a long time, I cannot believe I have not read it yet! I have heard lots of good things about it.
ReplyDeleteI've heard nothing but good things about it as well -- I'm taking it on vacation with me!
DeleteI can see you're in denial - tomorrow is actually the 10th! lol The only book I'm familiar with is The Expats. I can't wait to see what you think of your new books.
ReplyDeleteW.o.w.! I really *am* in denial -- thanks for noting that correct date!! Sheesh.
DeleteIndia Black and the Rajah's Ruby looks fabulous. An exotic mystery.
ReplyDeleteI'm addicted to the India Black series -- so good.
DeleteGreat mailbox, Audra! I'll be reading The Passing Bells soon, too, and will also be reading and reviewing The Midwife's Tale. I loved Mistress of Rome and am excited to know a new Tracy Chevalier novel is soon to be released.
ReplyDeleteHave a fantastic week!
I do want quite a few of those :D
ReplyDeleteOh, they all look so good! I can't wait to read Expats. Enjoy!
ReplyDeleteThe Expats sounds good. I hear you about needing a few more weeks!
ReplyDeleteGreat looking mailbox, as usual!! I still have so much wrapping to do, but that is tough with the kiddos around. Must get working on that or I'll be up all night long on Christmas Eve! Enjoy your week! Here is my Monday post.
ReplyDeleteLove the cover for The Expats, although, for some reason, it kind of looks like a vampire book...but I don't think it is.
ReplyDeleteThe Passing Bells is so pretty! I got mine too. Also, it's MASSIVE. I was not expecting that. O_O
17 & Gone. I am a bit envious, but I just read and didn't super like an author who got a lot of comparisons to Suma, so it may be for the best.
The Midwife's Tale: All I can think is The Handmaid's Tale.
Looks like The Mistress of Rome might be half-flashing her city.
I'm super jealous of The Midwife's Tale! I have that one pre-ordered for my Kindle and cannot wait. Enjoy The Last Runaway--I read it earlier this year and really liked it. Happy reading!
ReplyDeleteI got The Passing Bells, too, so I can't wait to see what you think of it. Enjoy your new books! I'm feeling the stress of the holidays, too; there's never enough time to get everything done.
ReplyDeleteGreat mailbox. I want to read The Passing Bells and The Midwife's Tale. Enjoy!
