Hosted in April by Mari @ MariReads, here's my Mailbox Monday for the last few weeks. Such a lovely distraction getting all these fabulous books -- I don't know where to start! To learn more about a title, click and it will open in a new tab/window.

What did you get this week?

All new books to me but am impressed by them all. Bobcat and Other Stories does look interesting.
ReplyDeleteI love the cover of it -- so striking!
DeleteWell, we got one book in common - Letters from Skye. This is probably showing my age, but the cover of Kevin makes me think of Archie. Enjoy your new books!
ReplyDeleteKathy, you're right! Kevin is Archie's gay friend -- he's new to the comic!
DeleteI've got a copy of Bobcat in my book pile, too. Looks pretty interesting.
ReplyDeleteI read Letters from Skye a couple of months ago--the cover is quite different now.
I'm not always drawn to short stories but I've had good success so I'm going to try!
DeleteOh my goodness, what a plethora of books! How will you ever find the time to read them all? I get a little behind in my promised commitments, and then I find myself robbed of some of the joy. A Dual Inheritnce has captured my eye for the past several weeks.
ReplyDeleteYou're exactly right -- my bookshelves full of unread ARCs makes me feel guilty all the time!
DeleteI got Letters from Skye this week, too. Along with Whistling Past the Graveyard by Susan Crandall, Gloria by Kerry Young and the one I'm most excited about, The People in the Trees by Hanya Yanagihara. I have an e-galley of A Dual Inheritance and I'm so anxious to start it, I've heard such fantastic things.
ReplyDeleteLetters from Skye caught my interest in NetGalley last week... thinking I should have requested it. Enjoy all those lovely books!
ReplyDeleteI'm really intrigued by Cinnamon and Gunpowder, I also have an ARC to read so I'm looking forward to that one. Astor Place Vintage is totally going on my list, that book sounds fantastic. Hope you enjoy your new reads!
ReplyDeleteMy Showcase Sunday!
Wow, those all look great! Kerrigan in Copenhagen looks good.
ReplyDeleteWhat a fabulous mixed collection. Always interesting to have reads like this.
ReplyDeleteI got a lot of the same books!

Astor Place Vintage sounds excellent - lucky you - enjoy!
ReplyDeleteLetters to Alice caught my eye...I've enjoyed several books by Fay Weldon.
ReplyDeleteHave a great week! Here's MY MONDAY MEMES POST
It's probably because it's my name, but Letters to Alice instantly piqued my interest.
ReplyDeleteI liked, but wasn't too fond of Antonia Fraser's Marie Antoinette biography, so a novel on the queen is a great idea. Hope you'll review it! :) A good haul!
ReplyDeleteWow, great mailbox week! Astor Place Vintage, The Rebellion of Miss Lucy Ann Lobdell and Kevin all look particularly interesting to me.
ReplyDeleteI'm especially intrigued by Astor Place Vintage and Confessions of Marie Antoinette (I've loved the other books in that trilogy)!
ReplyDeleteLetters From Skye and the Marie Antoinette book look fantastic. Enjoy!
