Weekend reads, and I got nothing...

I'm late with this post -- which also pretty much has nothing to do with books -- because of allergies and the migraine that came with them.

Goodreads says I'm currently reading 9 books, which sounds both totally possible and really quite ridiculous.

What are you reading this weekend? Anything I should pick up that would rattle me out of this fug?

  1. Oh no, I hope you're back o 100% soon.

  2. I'm not reading anything particularly good right now in fiction. I'm mostly reading comparable authors in my market, and tbh am not all that impressed except for the random Anne Perry I chose. And even then I thought it started out weak. That's the trouble with reading as a writer--you become hypercritical. I need to find the Linda Gillard book I have on my Kindle--now there's an author (indie!) who never lets me down. I would recommend anything by Linda--A Lifetime Burning is my personal favourite but it's traumatic. My review copy went to Half Price during the great fiction clear out pre-move so I'm going to have to buy it all over again in ebook--definitely want to re-read it at some point.
