Weekend reads, or I bet I'll be cleaning

Two short reads on the docket for the weekend as I actually plan to do a great deal of cleaning. This coming week my brother, niblings, and mother will be visiting so needless to say, I'll be desperate to get things in order.

I don't know about you all, but the handful of truly gorgeous days have meant we've been outside and not spring cleaning, and whoo, does the house reflect that!

What are you reading this weekend?

  1. Your family won't care what your house looks like! Enjoy their visit.

  2. I enjoyed The Black God's Drums so much, and I am really hoping for a sequel! I have his books set in Cairo still on the TBR stacks.

    1. I ended up reading Letters for Lucardo (and looooving it!) and I'm excited to start The Black God's Drums today. It looks incredible.

  3. Enjoy the family's visit! I am going to try and do some spring cleaning this weekend myself, as I've been terribly lax in my resolution to spend 5-10 minutes per day cleaning house. But I'm definitely doing 10 minutes today, and I'm hoping for twenty. (don't judge me pls)

Meanwhile I have the last Amberlough book to read! They sent it to me for review! I am so excited!

    1. Eee, enjoy -- can't wait for your squees. I plan to binge all three this summer!

I have not even done 10 minutes of cleaning so there is no judging from me. Here's hoping I rally to clean. I'm in a book hangover mode AND just had lightning flash of inspiration for a book so am word dumping. Cleaning is the laaaaaaaaaaaaaaaast thing I want to do!
